PSP ON UR TV
PSP On Your TV
So we mentioned the Team Xtender PSP 2 TV accessory some time ago, and then there’s this PSP On TV pyramid thing we mentioned today. And now there’s this Blaze PSP to TV projector that’s in the works. Clearly there’s a market here for people who want to be able to play their PSP games on their television screen, or maybe just for those who would rather watch their UMD movies on the large screen instead of their dinky PSP. Or maybe OEMs had a bunch of stuff lying around from the Gameboy era that they could unload and just retool for the PSP. The world will never know. The Blaze PSP to TV projector will be available in December this year, while the price remains a mystery.

See? What was I just saying. OEMs have a bunch of crap lying around that they retrofitted for the PSP. You own these UMD movies and games, should at least be able to watch them on something other than the PSP. Well, this giant pyramid that attaches to the PSP and captures whatever is on the screen and then ports it out to a television. It is popping up in stores for around $99.

I’m going to call bullshit on this one because every time you see a camera leak it’s someone who doctored their Dad’s SLR from 1979. However, let’s play along like good rumor mongers. We know, according to kind reader GreenDog, that the D200 is a 12-megapixel monster—more specs after the jump—and we also know that it appeared momentarily on the Nikon website and then disappeared. I looked at the image up close and there’s a lot of noise on the D200 logo, but what do I know. It looks like it’s all dress up and ready to go to a party with the flash and all the junk having off of it, so maybe its real. [Thanks, GreenDog and Mp.io]

Eurotech snuck this wrist PC onto its slate a couple weeks back and forgot to tell anyone. The 2.8 x 2.1-inch touchscreen is a 65,000 color TFT, and there is an input pen attached to the strap. The WWPC has 32 MB system ROM-Flash, 64 MB system SDRAM, and expands up to 1 GB through the built-in SD memory slot. And check this out:
L1 16 channel GPS receiver with active helix antenna; wireless connectivity: IrDa (up to 4Mbps), Bluetooth v1.1 (up to 721 Kbps) wireless LAN 802.11b (up to 11Mbps) with hardware coexistence handshake; 2 specific internal antennas
So just about any host system can be connected to this wearable — wired or wirelessly. Plus it runs in full operational mode for six hours on a couple of rechargeable batteries. The “wrist-worn personal assistant” is meant for emergency, security, health care and other professional users. But even so, I expect something a bit more stylish from an Italian mega-wristwatch.

See, as a woman, I knew there was a reason I learned about technology. Not so I can report on all the fabulous things going on in the industry, but because now I can enjoy things like a Bluetooth vibrator called The Toy that, incidentally, is linked to your cellphone and controlled by SMS messages. I mean, sure, we’ve seen techie love toys before— like the G5 Massager / Vibrator / Apple Lawsuit—but this one, well, it’s different. Basically, it’s “worn internally” (let’s leave that one alone, shall we?) and when an SMS is sent from the phone it’s linked up to, it turns into vibrations, depending on what has been written (each letter has a different effect). Again, I’m going to leave that to your imagination. Oh, and in case you’re worried that your Bluetooth Vibrator is going to show up on everyone’s list of bluetooth devices, don’t fret. It will only show up on the one phone it’s linked to. Of course, it can also be used manually (thank goodness) with a rechargeable battery.

iPod Shuffle Lego Case

So this guy Tomi has made a case for the iPod Shuffle out of Legos. Seems pretty normal, right? No. This case takes all of the goodness of the screen-less Shuffle and smashes it into a million pieces. The Shuffle is inserted into this case that resembles possibly an iPod video and then it just hangs out in there. That is pretty much it: it is a Lego iPod Video that has an opening for a Shuffle and it’s is being officially released Thursday morning and should go for $50. Man. I keep rereading this and it doesn’t get any better. I guess it could impress your friends, provided they are complete morons and think it is a real iPod Video.
